Activities in Bellelay

Make the most of this one-off opportunity to discover hundreds of mountain cheeses from around the world! Enjoy the once in a lifetime experience of watching the judges at work in the famous abbey at Bellelay. There’s a lot to learn about the rich history surrounding Bellelay and its cheese.

Crafts: smith craft, cheese making wooden shoe making, stonemasonry, carpentry and tanning

Horse shows

Fun for children: pony riding, craft atelier, tractor competitions and balloon releases

Traditional cuisine (both hot and cold)

Fondue in a horse-drawn cart - you can reserve your seat(s) in advance on 032 493 17 17

Trip to Mont-Crosin: Guided tours of the wind park (free of charge) leaving from the Pavillon Juvent:
- on Friday at 14:00 and 16:00
- on Saturday at 12:00 and 16:00
- on Sunday at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00

Trip to Saint-Imier, free entry to the Longines museum (Friday 9:00–11:00 and 13:30–16:00 / Saturday 13:30–16:00) and to the cheese dairy Spielhofer (Friday to Sunday 9–17:00)
